Why eras, not just teams?

A random team name tells you almost nothing — a franchise spans sixty years and four completely different squads. An era tells you which one. The reel lands on a specific window: the city, the years, and the group that actually played together. That is the difference between "Los Angeles" and a team you can argue about.

It’s the real draft, not a toy spinner

This is the same board the full game deals, not a spinner that stops at a name. Land an era, draft one real player from that squad with the season numbers they actually posted, fill your five, and the season plays out game by game. Spin as many times as you like — nothing here is once a day. Play the full game, or see everything this sport has.

Questions people actually ask

How does the NBA team randomizer work?

One tap spins the reel across real franchise eras and stops on one. You get the city, the years, that team’s record and how deep its roster runs, then you can open the full player list and start drafting from it.

Are the teams and years real?

Every era is a window a franchise genuinely had, identified by its city and years. There are no invented teams: the player pool comes from the public record for that specific period.

Can I spin more than once?

As many times as you want. This is a repeatable tool rather than a daily puzzle, so a spin you do not like costs you nothing but another tap.

What happens after it lands?

You draft from that era for real. Each card carries a season a player actually had, you fill a starting five, and then the whole regular season and playoffs simulate to tell you what the five was worth.

Is it free?

Yes, and there is nothing to install or sign up for. It runs in a browser tab on a phone or a laptop.
